our adoption process
How to add one of these wonderful dogs to your family.
Adoption Process
The following is an overview of our adoption process. If you have any questions before or during, please either visit the FAQ page or contact us.
STEP ONE
Fill out and submit your puppy application.
STEP TWO
We will review your application and contact you via e-mail to advise if you have been approved or not.
STEP THREE
We require a $500 refundable deposit to be added to the waitlist.
The deposit is refundable minus a 50% cancellation fee until the litter is born. Once the litter is born the deposit becomes NON-REFUNDABLE.
STEP FOUR
We accept deposits through Zelle, Venmo (please allow us to send a link) or a check in the mail.
Once we receive your deposit, we will place your name on a waitlist according to your puppy requests and send you a receipt via email.
STEP FIVE
When our moms are confirmed pregnant, we generally announce it via Facebook and Instagram. This can be a very busy time and sometimes we forget to share the exciting news. Puppy families are always welcome to check on their status on the wait list by contacting us via email.
STEP SIX
We will contact you via email a few days after the puppies are born to let you know they have arrived and that a puppy from this litter is available for you.
STEP SEVEN
Around 4 weeks, when the puppies eyes are open, we will complete the temperament testing and then assign puppies according to the waitlist requests. Every attempt is made to match the temperament with the personality and lifestyle of the families on the wait list. The more information you share with us on the application, the better the match .
STEP EIGHT
A little before eight weeks, we will contact you via email to set up an appointment date and time to come and pick up your new puppy at the eight-week mark.
